Thank you for the measurements. (They helped)
An XL in the 109 might be more up my alley.

@Shoreman - a cold soak and line dry had essentially no shrink - actually, since the fabric was so heavy and I had mine on a hanger, it actually stretched out in length haha

        For the record…

        127 XXL Green:

Presoak / Post Cold Soak and Line Dry
        Shoulders: 19.25 / 19.25
        P2P: 24.5 / 24.4
        Opening: 23.5 / 23.4
        Length: 30  / 30.25
        Sleeve: 26 / 26

          Thanks, @Appfaff
Further confirms this will be too big, even with the extra layers I intended to use.

Sold this guy, and the second I shipped it off I regretted it.  One of my favorite shirts ever.

Don't worry, it ended up in a good home and is being well cared for. Thanks again.

Similar weight, but feeling a bit softer and smoother on the outside.

Is it ok to use a bit of liquid fabric softener when washing the 127? My plan is to use cold water, woolite, low spin on a short 20 min cycle.

The sleeves are a bit short, but there is a solution for that…

i've just about convinced myself to snatch up one of the last of these before they go extinct. i have the ombre work shirt which has slightly longer sleeves, but is made of the same material. the sleeves were perfect out of the box , but i use the shirt for work and i've noticed that after a bit of normal use and pulling at the sleeves to take the shirt off multiple times has lead to a bit of stretch, 1/2" or so, to the point where i think the western might actually fit better, post stretch.

Giles may have just found a "solution"  for all the XS shirts that go into sale normally. 🙂
