IH-633N - 17oz Natural Indigo Straight Tapered

I gave them an initial soak this morning.  I was a bit surprised at the lack or indigo bleed.  There also wasn't much starch color in the water.  My hands didn't turn blue when I turned them back from inside out.  That's a first.

The 634 lacks that taper and the 666/555 feel too slim in the top block. The 633 are the best compromise.

Exactly what i thought. I hope i'll have the chance to try them on somewhere… though i think i'd prefer something heavier.

There is the 21oz version.  The 633 is Self Edge only from what I understand. @illo59

ik but i like to go into a store, have a chat and try the fit of pants… and from germany it's not really around the corner to visit a SE-store maybe i'll have a chance when i visit LA and SFO this summer... @summ3rhays

I agree and I have the same issue being from Utah.  I've been to both stores and I would recommend visiting even if you aren't going to buy.  Great group of people. @illo59

I'm actually wearing my 20 oz. grey weft pair today, only having a little bit of trouble with the top button after the last wash.
It is indeed a great cut!

I managed to go 5 months without spilling food on these. First wash and I'm digging the color and texture. Crappy pics, but really like the roping.

I wasn't expecting the natural indigo to fade very fast, but there is a decent amount.

does anyone have both 633S and 633N? SE's charts say a 1" difference in waist? I'm thinking of sizing up

I don't have both, but the denim had a fair amount of stretch in the waist. When in doubt email SE.  Kiya is great about answering questions.  @davey5737
