We know you love IH, but where do you think we can improve?
-
It would. That is plan for next time I have a few hours spare…..
Could you give the denim used a Type Reference, and include this in the listings? that way we can see which items use the same denim (or not) from each other?
For example. 'flagship' 21oz = 'Type A', 19oz Left Had Twill = 'Type D' or whatever….
-
You can see that info already here can you not?
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/cuts/index.html#tabletop
I just need to define the denim types like the cuts and the table does the rest…..
-
Yes, the denim types would be very helpful. If the info can eventually go onto the product pages that would be a bonus. Thanks.

fly me out to the Works when you all are getting the next season ready so I can soak it all in.
what? it's an improvement for me, hahahaha
oh & a question that maybe should be in random questions but you know. with shirt numbers now being in the 100s, do you think maybe you all will stop with the numbers eventually?
-
And do what instead? Seriously, I'm open to a better plan (though I suspect, it'll take some effort to change Haraki's mind)…..
A number is unique and thus easy to determine what we are talking about, a description is open to (mis)interpretation....
The other good thing about numbers is that it automatically sorts out a chronology. Though I did screw up by calling the MC and TG westerns, the same numbers as the original 101 and 102's.....
-
beats me, I only ask random most times annoying questions.
I look at the numbers and it's a great indicator, but in 20 years am I really going to be looking out for IHSH 1253?
-
I can't remember the numbers; in fact I've never even bothered to try. I have to look them up every time I post, so I'd be screwed if anything ever happened to the Extinct section of the website. It's a good system, though.
-
I can recall the numbers of the goods I like or loathe. In the early days I could recall them all like sport stats now my brain is mush & it doesn't work.
So when are you sending my itinerary for going to the Works?
-

Exactly right, ditto, i'm numerically dyslexic
a roll call is out of the question…I've got two black ones, one green one, two etc etc.
-
darn it, not happening for me then, hahahaha
have fun @Sam & make sure you get at the least two twin beds if G$ insists on one room, hahaha
-
I will publish the itinerary soon. Those who'd like to join for all or part and free to sort themselves out….We'd love to see you there.
I will be going with @Sam this time….
Paula's not coming to America? Well, then I'll be interested in knowing your itinerary, so I can plan a quick trip to Gosport on those days….
-
OK, so I go in May. I hear Gosport is even lovelier in the summer.
-
Where I live? No, not really. The transition from "winter" to summer is pretty quick. We're in late February and the highs are already pushing 80 (27C). Another couple of weeks and we'll be solidly into summer heat.
EDIT: Broark knows. Austin's no better than Houston…
