I work in a warehouse style gym, so I go through shorts like crazy - spotting people on squats, demoing weightlifting moves - every summer I get one new pair of cargo shorts and they are constantly my most worn item throughout the warmer months based on their practicality for me. Wish there would be some 38s for mobility sake, but hoping the 36s work for me!

@Giles, if H-san still has those serge cut-offs, I think that this might be a great opportunity to use those scraps to make some COASTERS  ;).  Or some serge IHC-06!

These are the official shorts for Alabamians - I'll admit they are very accommodating to our climate (I have a few pairs for fishing and paddleboarding), but I hate seeing people wear them to nice restaurants with a dress shirt and calling it "coastal formal"

Reminds me of a restaurant we went to in Hawaii last summer- the dress code was listed as "Aloha Casual."  No idea wtf that was supposed to mean.  Probably the same as coastal formal.

There's always a chance, but these were made with left over fabric….....
