Plus the Aussies don't seem to have much of an attachment to heritage either, and it's cheaper to flatten and start again. Shame, really, as I think that you could have done something fantastic with the now demolished place.@Graeme, Australia has great sentiment towards its heritage homes and landmarks so much so that there are strict guidelines in place when it comes to classifying, maintaining, restoring and (if needed) demolishing them… And yes, all of this comes at a high cost.
When heritage homes (classified by the Australian Heritage Council) are demolished, in most cases, are done without council consent or permit and result in a rather sizable penalty.
It's a shame that the building was demolished but did you need to make such a judgemental assumption of 'Aussies'...

Sorry @dylantbmayes, I was generalising from developers to the wider population.
I think that the problem is that heritage listings are often only applied older buildings, and so postwar architecture is often vulnerable. Add in the fact that it's often cheaper to rebuild than restore, there's been an uninterrupted property boom for the last fifteen or more years, and the whole notion of making money off houses is more widespread, and it's not good for preserving what's good.
I'm not averse to replacing buildings. And who knows, maybe my much maligned developer will produce something of quality. I'm not holding my breath though.
Still, I'm going to leave it with this architect's sketch. The garden wasn't actually laid out this way, unfortunately.

Cold Play on Super Bowl 50 is bad enough but to make matters worse they are miming really badly
OMG all the artists are miming and they are all out of time. Fail -
Not really gonna defend Coldplay, but they're hardly the only band to fake the halftime show.

I HATE double LP´s. 3 tracks on side A, 3 tracks on side B, 2 Tracks on Side C… Lana Del Rey, Kadavar… It´s just annoying.

@TrickHell:
Can someone please explain the mindset of the person who just likes to waste my motherfucking time?
It's the Internet, It isn't 'real' to them…..

I bought some stuff today to remove two mildew spots in out bathroom. The detergent has a very high amount of chlorine. When I tried tho take the bottle out of the package to take a look at it, it turned out that some fuckwit allready opened it and didn't screw the spray pistol pack on properly. The outcome was, that my IHM-09 and my IHSH-127 where sprayed with highly concentrated chlorine and this turned into the fucking worst day of the year in the blink of an eye.

It's one of those projects that feel doomed from the start, and the manager disagrees with my suggestions of how to do it. I don't have a functional spec, nor do I have a complete and accurate API reference for the server I'm meant to be using.
I know exactly what you mean. I was tasked to manage a project a year and a half ago that in my head I said "Shit, this is NEVER going to work"
A couple months ago they decided to shitcan it

When people don't think ahead/anticipate life. Especially when it comes to tasks they do on almost a daily basis.
Example: waiting in line for the bus. Been standing there about 5 minutes with a number of other people, including the person mentioned. Bus arrives. People form some semblance of a line with their bus cards ready. People start boarding the bus, scanning their cards as they board. Person a few people up decides she is not going to get her card out. Person is now in front of scanner. Person doesn't know where her card is. Person is holding up the line. Searches purse, not there. Searches pockets, not there. Searches coat draped over arm, finally finds it.
Did this take up much of my life? No. Is it incredibly annoying? Absolutely. She had a card, which means it's not her first rodeo. Just think ahead. Just a little bit.

I will be in trouble if a certain person reads this.
We're going to the pub or wine bar. We have it planned for ages. I get to the bar and ask her what she wants to drink.
What then ensues is a 10 minute scratching of head, looking at all the drinks on offer etc etc.
FFS, you kew we were coming for a drink, how difficult is this?
