@Chris I can get away with big watches. I used to wear a 44 mm Breitling, though nowadays it's a 35 or 36 mm Tender. I think people get too fixated on diameter, and I'm always amused when I see a posting "If only it came in a 44 mm, 42 mm is too small for me!"

As well as the Big Pilot watch I was admiring, IWC have just launched a new 36 mm piece. It's rather lovely. Perhaps the tide is turning, or they're covering all bases.

^ i was waiting for you to post it. i thought the new piece was a 41mm a size between the smaller 36 and the bigger big pilot???

@louisbosco you were probably thinking of the IWC Mark XVIII, which is a 40 mm watch. They've got a watch for every wrist size. 🙂

My current "if I was a millionaire" watch has to be the new Urwerk EMC Time Hunter in green. This uses an electronic circuit to gauge the precision of the mechanical movement, which is a completely pointless, but very cool complication.

Speedmaster Moonphase with the Master Chronometer antimagnetic movement. This should get a few of you excited. 🙂

Plus it's got a blue strap and dial to go with your jeans. 😉

Hautlence Vortex Primary by Eric Cantona! :o

It'll only match your kegs if you snagged a pair of the coloured jeans that Haraki proposed a few years back.

The very cool Ladoire that @Tempvs sports uses a movement that was developed in conjunction with Hautlence. I don't know if it's in this piece, but the price point is certainly a few notches up from what Ladoire used to charge.

Just got my old school Datejust back from NYC Rolex Service Center.  It's running like new on a lizard strap and I'm real happy with how it turned out.

Of course this gives me an excuse to post another photo of the Vacheron Constantin Overseas, which is probably my favourite when it comes to vaguely sensible watches.

On a less sensible front, Monochrome have a review of the Urwek UR-105 T-Rex. I like what the brand does and bronze cases, so I'm a fan…

Thanks. Figured blue was most diverse although I don't wear it nearly enough. I have the divers bracelet and divers rubber strap too, just a chore to change them out. Liking the leather strap right now.

Mine as well Graeme. It's amazing how "affordable" the Overseas is in relation to their other pieces.

@Anesthetist that's just your way of justifying the Overseas's price. 😛

If you consider it's twice as much as a JLC Geophysic or Omega Globemaster, which are functionally similar, or three or four times that of a Tudor North Flag, which looks similar, then it's not such good value. 😉

I'm still tempted by one though. 😶

I think the bracelet is fantastic, and I like it better overall than those three.  Not enough to buy it, but it is a very lovely watch.
