Post soak fit pics. The back shot and side shot where blurry and I have no time to redo them at the moment.

can do a single cuff now, instead of the pre soak double cuff. After another wash or two they will go off to heming.

UHR denim is by far my favorite. As of right now, the IHXBO1XUHR, and the 1955UHR, are my favorite jeans. Not in that particular order. I haven't done a soak on them, just regular wash, low spin, minimal shrinkage. My biggest problem is usually doing or undoing the buttons. Now I gently use needle nose pliers.

Should have washed it inside out, but it was so driping wet and stiff that I gave up. Hope it will even out while fading.

😉 I feel ya, it took enormous effort to turn them back again to wear them while they were still wet. Not to mention the fight to button them up!

Managed to pick up one of these with the WDC tag in the IH Sale  🙂

The cloth and cut are both absolutely amazing! Followed the instructions and cold soaked and washed these once. Got very little shrinkage. Did another hot soak with practically no shrinkage.

I don't really need them any smaller, but am concerned about the length as they are now double cuffed, which looks somewhat odd.

From experience, can anyone tell me if these will still shrink after 2 soaks and one wash, as I am considering to have them hemmed. Would now be ok, or should I wait for another wash or two?

                                Cheers

@juwa if you machine wash on 60 with full spin cycle then you can be pretty sure all the shrinkage is gone. Temperature is one thing, agitation also contributes to shrinkage and the spin cycle will do that.

^ Yes - Hot Soak + Hot Wash again - it took me 3 washed to finally get my 666-UHR to shrink down, but when they did, the waist and length shrunk up a lot.

I second what neph and Apfaff said. If you're unsure about any shrinkage left, just give them another hot soak. You can add a wash after that if you'd like to. BTW the double cuff looks pretty nice ;).

You can always get them hemmed and just leave .5 inch or so for shrinkage. The shouldn't shrink that much more, at least mine didn't.

Thanks a lot for all the advice! I am just gonna keep wearing them with the double cuff for as longs a possible now and then give them another hot soak and wash + spin and see where that takes me.

Just so you know, one potential issue with not getting all the shrinkage out now, is that the leg will shorten when you hot wash and your old wear patterns will move up an inch or two from were they should be. Some people care about this, some people don't.
