It will stretch back out especially if you get it wet again put it on damp…pull and stretch the life out it....my xl is still to big....I can get my XL over a longsleeved T-shirt and hoodie, iron heart of coarse and a 12oz shirt... it's big

      madmonday's retired….I'm just tired.

Gave my large a soak In the tub the other day. It shrank quite a bit.  Borderline to snug now. Haha. Guess i should have kept the xl and soaked it hot as hell before deciding to sell it and size down.
It is still very wearable. But I can only use it with t-shirt underneath.

I need an xxl but no stock,

Xxxl is in stock, would you say I could get a full size drop in shrinkage?

My XXXL is a little "trim" compared to the usual sizing on XXXL.  Thats why I'd hate for it to see water.  You could probably get away with it.

I soaked mine recently. I wanted it a little narrower in the torso, but the sleeve length was good, so I pulled on the sleeves a little bit while it was still damp to make sure they wouldn't shorten up. Not sure if it's the placebo effect, but I thought it made the fit better for me.

One way to test that placebo effect is to get it if wet again without pulling on it 🙂

I have not measured the shirt. Before or after the soak. But I guess you could ha a look at the 99. It shrank in the overdyeing process. As I understood it.
My large is tighter now after the soak. The biggest difference is around the shoulder area and the sleeve length as they are quite noticeable for me.

                  Thanks guys, anyone else?

I own a 99 which is XXXL so a hot wash and tumble might do it….

After a couple of days of use and abuse the shirt has stretched some again. I can now button up all the way without feeling like someone is choking me. 🙂 I still kind of regret that I soaked it in warm water for 35 minutes. It was bound to see water at some point. But if I could do it again I would use cold water and let it soak for a shorter time.

Awesome fit!  I kinda like the newly formed fit after the bit of shrink it got!

Thanks everyone. The 76 is one hell of a shirt. One of my favourites if not the favourite shirt. Will be fun seeing it a couple of years down the road.
The shirt has stretched out some after the soak. I will probably only do cold soaks and 30 degrees machine washes from now on.  🙂
