My wife and I just returned from a week in Osaka.  While there, I ordered an XL jacket and had it delivered to my hotel room.

Erm, because it is better. I defy anyone to pick up a Schott and compare it with a leather jacket from Flat Head, or Real mcCoys or Joe McCoys or indeed Iron Heart and say it is better.  I have jackets from them all, and Aero and Simmons Bilt and a few others, so I do know what I am talking about….  And the J100 which this jacket is derived from is a our interpretation of a Buco, not a Schott....

@Giles what's the current lead time on these in XL/XXL? Looking at the sizing chart I'm in between XL and XXL, and would ideally like to try one on before committing - will you be getting any of these in stock, if so it would be a good excuse to pay a visit to Gosport

TMG, I've been wearing it around the house this winter, so that definitely helps with the break in.  I had the RMC J-100 which I sold to fund this.  The only thing I miss from that RMC is the veggie tanned smell.

@Giles I'm back in the UK next week, so was hoping to pay a visit and try/buy an XL or XXL…..is that a possibility?
