i find that i wouldn't pay $200 for that. given that it's $200, i'd rather go with a fieg or concept collab. those are the ones that have been catching my eye at the moment. but design-wise, those look fine.. nothing much i can fault really.

Thanks for the kind word. I was glad these didn't sell out in ten minutes.
It means a bunch of resellers didn't buy them all just to make a quick buck & the sneakers have gotten into the hands of folks who will wear them. The color way makes me think of warmer weather & broken in denim. I think I will put them away until late March/ early April aka Spring time hahahaha

you are going to love them. the materials are top notch & they just look cool with that bright red on the heel tab & tongue.

@madmonday yeah they sure will. the red tongue sealed the choice for me. i'm glad to be spending some boots time in the cold and snow winter during "summer", gonna be glad to switch back to sneakers in the warm summer time once i get back till winter comes round in june again.

@tailoredfamcam the blacked out 997 are dope, I would get a pair, but I just tend to not wear dark colored footwear.
997 is one of my favorite New Balance models, I was over the moon when they came back in the original blue & grey models a bit back.
@louisbosco winter in June reads so weird to me, but I'll make sure I get some wear pics in here before then

My first pair of UK made NB just arrived. Construction is similar to my USA pairs but the suede is even nicer.

I think the black suede, raw denim combination turned out pretty swell. I agree with the notion that most NBs are 'ugly as sin'. (See the unpopular opinions thread) But, I think these are pretty sweet looking and the fit is perfect. These also have custom orthodics in them to help my knees and back out a little. I'm definitely happy with them. I just wish the raw denim was ultra -heavy Iron Heart… But the color is actually pretty close to raw IH-25s.
@QuantumMechanic this was them when they were brand new. I really regret having washes them. The heel cup completely deformed and the sole came off. I threw them in the garbage.
