I LOVE YOU WITH MY STOUT
“When I copied my famous beer `Even More Jesus´, I had to ask myself as an artist, why am I doing this? I didn’t honestly know. It was just an instinct about beer as pure form… in a sense this stout is like a metaphor for freedom - the sum of all the beauty that surrounds me and my perfect contemporary existence.”I think Evil Twin Brewing beers have unique names.
This one is beautiful balanced!
Thanks @Seul -
You're welcome.
Excellent quad. Rio Reserva's better though.

Some stuff I had over Xmas:
This was great. Funky, boozy, musty and thick. Balsamic vinegar in beer form. Thank you Nøgne.
Tar in a bottle. I liked it.
Yay \o/ (and thanks again Seul).
Pretty nice xmas ale, lightened with some fresh apple juice. These guys are Norwegian fruit farmers who make beer as hobby. Fruit plays a role in all their beers. The two beers I've tried have been well made balanced affairs and the fruit has been well used. This was great. Pissed I didn't buy more.
Nøgne's sour cherry beer. Not for me. Not at all.
Think I put this up before. Not apologising though. It's awesome beer.
I do like a decent Double IPA and this was that. From a hitherto unknown to me Oslo brewer. It's marketed as an xmas beer although I have no idea why.
Happy New Year, beer people.

Drank a lot over the holidays, these were some standouts. We're limited from getting much "exotic" beer, but sometimes something good crosses the border.
We also have a new(ish) brewery in town doing some tasty things. When they opened the beer wasn't great and it was in such hi demand that it was all tasting the same, but now they've evened out and most of the beer is pretty good. Not sure it's Belgian monk good, but def a big step up in this townThe local brew. Both really tasty. (had them drank before I remembered to take pics)
couple more tasty locals and some from far away. All so very good. The Kentucky Bastard is just awesome and fairly available, so will stock more for sure.
