@ mega, You had me at Brisket Burger!! Looks great!
We finally got a decent coffee shop along the Alabama Gulf Coast. They call this the "Mach 1" - it's a single shot macchiato paired with a single shot of their signature espresso. It's good to say the least!

So my girlfriend and I went to New Orleans right after the new year, fell in love with the city and all of its food!
First night we ate at ACME Oyster House, just had to get the chargrilled oysters and a fried shrimp and oyster poboy:
The next morning we nursed our hangovers with bananas Fosters french toast for breakfast at Stanley:
That evening we ate at Mothers, got some pretty damned good fried chicken and red beans and rice:
The next afternoon we had lunch at Joey K's in the Garden District. Shrimp poboy, red beans and rice and some jambalaya for me:
And that evening was our final meal in the city, so we had the best burger in New Orleans at Port Of Call. And yes, that's a fully loaded baked potato next to it. Solid tropical drinks too:
Needless to say I've been on a diet since returning home! I have a feeling we'll be back sooner rather than later.
