Maybe I was wrong about not being the in market. I think my Patagonia shell might go "missing". The color looks pretty interesting and the large would be a tad roomy, but that would probably be a good thing when it gets warmer.

lol @Streetwise Hercules - I literally went to run early morning errands a few sundays ago, got caught in the rain and immediately hit up @Megatron1505 for the J-11 cause my Nike shell wasn't performing how I had hoped. Super nice piece and can't wait to see how it performs. Couldn't have asked for a better fit. Plus it rains like every day here in Alabama so I can't believe I didn't grab one of these or the J-535 sooner. Heck, if the price drops on the 535 any more, I might need to grab it purely on principle and the fact that it has a hood lol.

@Giles - Yep, I'll be the driest slob in Alabama, that's for sure. The J-11 will most likely be more go to light layering/spring foul weather jacket, while the J-535 should be perfect for monsoons and sliding over my J-37.
Thanks again to both of you - I will never be able to complain about not having a rain jacket ever agin lol

Waaaay late to the party, but I picked up one of these new today! I'm in Zurich, then going on to Les Diablerets in a couple days, and I idiotically brought zero rain-appropriate clothing. I found the last one of these on a good sale at VMC and it was in my size, so I jumped on it. I'll be curious to try this as an athletic jacket in the future. As for now, I've already had some rain come down in it and it works quite well. Good thing IH was making great stuff 6 years ago just like they do now.
