I had my gf yank on them while I was wearing them and that helped a bit.

Be careful with these guys. Hand wash only!

I imagine the dryer was the culprit. Looks like I'll be hang-drying my 101MC. How much length did you lose?

That's a bummer @Akuma no uta .  I would say that the dryer was the culprit too.  I think if you cold was it again or just soak it cold water and let it hang or lay it flat to dry that you will get some length back.

I've noticed you can get quite a bit of shrink out of the UHF's.  Last year when I got my black 107 I got nearly a full size worth of shrink from a warm wash/warm machine dry.  This was intentional though as the XXL that I bought was a bit too big on me out of the bag and now if fits great.

Washed mine with cold water and they shrunk a lot in the length. Too short now 😫

That sucks. 1,5" from a cold wash is a lot of shrinkage..

In all the tests we have done on multiple UHF's, I have never seen that level of shrinkage.  It can't be a single rogue shirt.  So it is either a rogue batch of fabric (in which case we will see other 127's in the same colour doing the same thing) or a rogue washing/drying machine.

Personally, I think your washing machine or dryer is at fault.  Having said that, we don't want you to be unhappy with your shirt so please get in touch and we will organise a pick up and credit note/exchange.

In point of fact we had another US based customer have a similar issue with a pair of 707's last night.  I have washed the living shit out of my pair (I do that so I know what is likely to happen in worst case) and I can't even get 1" in waist and inseam.  But, he managed to get 2" in the waist and 2" in the inseam.  Again it has to be the washing machine…...

We know US washing machines are bastards.  Read last para here.......

Washed my 127 on 60C, put it in the dryer, and just got a little bit shrinkage. Washed my 107 on 40C, nothing bad happened.

@Giles yeah must be my washing machine, thank you for the insanely amazing customer service but luckily I'm ok.

I had my gf pull on the bottoms of my shirts while I was wearing them for awhile last night, they stretched right back out to pre wash length, will do again today just to make sure they stay that way, was quite a scare last night.

@Akuma no uta , u shouldn't live in fear of the washing machine & dryer trade/give away all your goods for larger sizes.

if it doesn't fit, you must acquit

For a long time I thought I was washing with cold water and my stuff was always shrinking. Turns out the valve was only allowing hot water for some reason. Wish I figured it out earlier.

That's why I recommended a few times to buy the UHFs a bit oversized. Some shrinkage will occur, even if I washed my 72 in 60 degrees and didnÄt get as much. But then I never use a dryer - from what I've read these lead to crazy shrinkage in many cases. Just handwash and hang dry.

Measured both today after a full day wear and stretching each, seems the red only shrunk width wise, and the grey shrunk mostly length wise. Intriguing, as it's the same cotton and pattern, maybe the dye had something to do with it.

Yeah a USA clothes dryer will shrink the fuck out of clothes if you aren't careful.

I cold washed mine and hung to dry and got minimal shrinkage but it made the material fairly coarse. I kinda liked it and now that's it softened back up, I like it even more.

I ended up picking up an XXL in green and I really like the way it fits

I don't know if they actually shrunk but, the sleeves and overall length feel a bit shorter after the second cold wash on my grey shirt. I'll try it against my green which I have yet to wear, tonight.
