IH-666S - The Devil's Fit Indigo - Slim Tapered

I looked at alot of pictures of the flat head jeans with the 3xxx dye and the verticale fades and it looks very similar to the devils fit in 18 oz fades.Has anyone else noticed the simularity and how fast dose this denim fade compared to other iron heart denims like the 21oz.

I have measured my Nudie Grim Tims dry orange selvedge and they measure 33" in the waist. Do I want to choose a measured waist of 33" in Iron Hearts and take the pain until they stretch back out to 33" after soaking. Or do I choose a measured 34" and shrink it to 33"?

Also is the Iron Heart 666s stock on selfedge of a different batch because the measurements are different to that on the IH website.

They will stretch to post soak pretty easily.

No, it's probably because they measure differently from us.

hello, I just bought a size 30w 666s from someone who had 2 cold washes. I am a 31w and would like to stretch these.. unfortunately I cannot get it buttoned after the first ones and was wondering if soaking them in cold water for 2+ hours then wearing them until they stretch will get them to a 31w? everything fits right until the top portion where I cannot get the 2nd button on.. I figured soaking them long enough will get them to stretch. Thank you in advance. Btw these are my first pair

Just wear them, they'll stretch

Even when I can't fully button them up? I only have the first button on..

If you can get them all buttoned but the top two, just wear them around the house when you can and they will stretch. If you can only button one button they are probably too small for you and wearing wet won't really fix that.

I've read somewhere that someone else soaked them for about 2 hours in cold water and they stretched 2 sizes.. I just want assurance that's all.. I'll put in the work breaking them in. They feel really nice already I just need my butt to get in haha . I got in unhemmed for $140.. Not a bad deal if you ask me

The challenge will be ballroom, i.e., lack thereof. These are Japanese, after all.

Water will not stretch the fabric. Only wear will do that. Sounds like they might be too small.

I'm gonna give them a month of work.. I was able to the the 2nd button on.. soaked them and put a hanger in between while they dry and i'll be wearing these throughout the day while i'm at work. I'm assuming the previous owner had a smaller waist than me. I had kinda of a butt (athletic build), if I were to buy these again should I get a 31w or 32w? I'm normally a 31w.. Also was looking into the 301s since I hear they have more room at the top. should I get true sizing to for those as well? thank you in advance

Get your best fitting pair of jeans and measure them this way.  Then look at the sizing tables and buy the size that most closely matches.

I bought a pair of these (wearing them now) four years ago .. since then I have purchased like 15 other jeans .. these are STILL my favorite, in terms of fit, quality, comfort, style, fade (slow- but really worth it !) these are the best darn jeans ever. 666s forever! I may try the UHR's next to have a new experience but if I heard the standard 18oz 666s were to become endangered… i'd buy every pair in my size left.  ps.. it took 6 months .. but i got 2 inches of stretch in the waist.
