      @grandmasterben:

      Wnat makes you say that? Just curious!

      Wesco wins on construction, materials and quality for me. Style is a matter of personal taste.

      I wore nothing but White's for years, and the SD is still one of my favourite boots, but my Flightmasters "modified packers" are the best boots I have ever owned.

      Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

          I am a weak man.  Saw these come up on the Factory Seconds and bought them so fast that I forgot to save the pic of the boots.

                I know! I can't wait to get them in and, of course, I'll be out of town when they do.  Pics will be coming when I get home though!

                Looking back through this thread, I think it should be a pair similar to this batch (except for the buckskin lining):

                    After a looooong wait - Wesco Boss, 1339 (MP) last, burlap rough out, natural edge - Hukurokuju nickel roller buckles.  Very happy  🙂 with these.  Now, no more boots.  I'm done (probably).

                    Looking closer…

                          Do folks normally treat rough out, or just let it evolve naturally? Does it hold up in wet conditions?

                                        @den1mhead Thank you, sir!  They should be here within the week.  I could've sworn I saw an identical makeup earlier in this thread with better pictures; I'll see if I can find it.
