The indigo/indigo craze continues with two new shirts in this lovely rope dyed indigo warp/indigo weft 12oz denim - this is the western version (the work shirt is IHSH-136).

Shoulders look a bit small compared to chest measurement on the large though…

Looking at the measurements alone, they do seem to fit a bit bigger. Do you expect any shrinkage?

We're kind of sitting on the fence on this one - both are currently listed as endangered, if popularity warrants future production runs then one or both may become extant/regular items…

We did a shrink test (30 min gentle wash at 30 degrees C with small amount of detergent) on IHSH-136 size L (same fabric) and we got the following results:
In inches before/after shrink test:
Shoulders - 19.1/19 (0.1" shrinkage)
Length - 30.4/29.6 (0.8" shrinkage)
Pit to Pit - 23.2/22.9 (0.3" shrinkage)
Sleeve - 27.4/26.6 (0.7" shrinkage) -

Trying to decide on which size to get. Anyone have any results from a soak or wash. The work-shirt version seems to be getting less than stated, just looking to see if thats true.

I don´t think I can ever wash my L so cant help you.
It came in too small by these amounts: (basically my washing buffer)
Shoulders: -0,3"
Chest: -0,4"
Sleeves: -0,2"
Length: +0.1"Other then that its a sweet shirt, substantial, less crazy contrasty irl. Beautifully put together. IH soft and nice.

Just out of curiosity: what can you tell me about the dyeing intensity? In other words, do the yarns have white cores and will the shirt fade with a high contrast? Or will it just gradually dull in color? Or is the fabric dyed clear through to the core of the yarn meaning it will almost never fade??? Just wondering how this shirt will age over the years as it seems likely to have a long life as do nearly all Iron Heart items. Thanks!!!
