There's an interesting interview about the Sony A7 R II at:
http://www.imaging-resource.com/news/2015/06/16/sony-qa-the-must-have-sensor-tech-of-the-future
I'm interested in the camera from a video perspective, and the sensor sounds fantastic for that. They're sampling across fifteen photosites per pixel at 4K, which should give absolutely fantastic images.

I ended up selling my Sony A7ii. I wasn't using it since getting another Leica M8. The IQ on the Sony is actually too good. The photos almost look like the went through to much post processing.

Figured you might
Price is far more reasonable than Manfrotto and the quality is comparable.
The tripods hex centre column is a really great feature!

Hey everyone. I know there is a lot of expert photographers in this forum. It's time to welcome another noob into it. I know basic photography terms and practices. But still never tread past auto focus. I have got a Nikon D40x that was gifted to me a while back. This is probably laughable on this forum. But DSLR cameras are very complicated compared to an iPhone. So. I notice a lot of people have the hand clicker to take photos and probably decent tri pods. Any suggestions on where I could pick up some entry level stuff. My roommate just plain isn't interested in taking WAYWT pics for me. So any help is appreciated. Thanks stubborn crew!
