Thanks for the link Snowy, i'd forgotten he was doing that. Jealous of BL be able to bowl at that toad, think I would've aimed for his throat.

Looks like we're going throw some young blood in to the team for the 5th test, can we stop the white wash….?

      Toad…ha ha. He really is.

Well the Aussie media are certainly pumped up about a 5-0 whitewash, so that should almost certainly prevent it from happening.

I feel sorry for Cook having to bear the brunt of the criticism. Sure, his tactics have been "interesting" at times, but he hasn't had much help along the way. How he stays so calm and diplomatic when interviewed amazes me. I'd be hurling bricks at journos by now!

That'll be a no then. We may as well have Piers Morgan opening the batting the way things are going. Had high hopes for Carberry but it just hasn't happened.

17 for 4…..seventeen for four!!! What a farce.

Dear god. I should be happier than I am. What happened? Where did it all go so badly wrong for Cook's men?

            5-0…. Who would have thought?

England looking good for a win in the current ODI.

                Edit: Hmmm…upside down picture?

What an embarrassing loss in the ODI series! Very pleased that we gave India a good drubbing in the test series but things don't look good for the World Cup with us playing so badly in 50 over games.

I have to congratulate the Aussies and commiserate with the Kiwis for their only bad performance. An enjoyable cricket World Cup for most people. Just don't mention England…

Pretty excited for the Ashes, love watching it when the series is in the UK. I think the Aussies are really going to miss Ryan Harris's bowling on the pommy pitches.

Everybody was asking WHEN Australia will win this. This series is going to be fun, even without KP participating.

And Australia steamroll England at the home of cricket. I haven't seen a better comeback. It is going to be fun at Edgbaston.

Yeah, that was completely and utterly embarrassing…...

At least it won't be 5-0!

                                  Good point.

I was mightily impressed with the way the Aussies came back for the drubbing they received in the first test, I remain extremely sceptical that the English team have the same resolution of character.

                                  I hope I am wrong.

I wonder what is it about the two countries that produces such different types of cricketers. The closest to Australian style of batting in England is Jos Buttler  or Ben Stokes. Australia has Chris Rogers (who has played for four counties) who is more like Cook than Warner. One would think that there would be similarities between two sides that have been playing against each other for so long.

Perhaps it's the nature of the pitches (due to geography and weather conditions) which reflects the type of players produced to (theoretically) best suit their conditions.

3-2 is now the worse case scenario. This series is swinging more than one of Jimmy Anderson's deliveries!

One of my Australian work colleagues reckons the Aussies threw the Edgbaston game to make for a more interesting series. He was deadly serious as well.  Personally I just don't see the Aussies being that charitable, I am sure they would have been aiming for another white wash.  All makes for an interesting end to the series.
