      @Snowy:

I'll go UnPop. That guy's shoe tat laces are done wrong. Laces should alternate criss-cross for maximum strength. All the one way is suboptimal, and visually annoying.

Over under lacing is considered by most footwear retailers to be more visually appealing than the criss-cross…

I'd say your opinion is unique @Snowy, not unpopular 😉

Personally, I've had to lace a lot of sneakers/ boots (many times for G) and found over under is faster, easier and in the long-term reduces wear and tear…

Actually lacing 5 pairs of Nike sneakers as I type!

seems visually balanced for me 😕 in a way that it has a smooth flow from your toe to your ankle. it's an uninterrupted kinda flow.

              This.

Me too. It is popular now to make the first floor of a structure like a bowling alley, with little "activity areas". One can hear a mouse fart in such a setup.

Much as I am opposed to sweatshop labour, and have actively campaigned against it, I have to say that no one makes trainers (sneakers to half the boards population) better than Nike.

Yes they might be stitched together by 8 year olds earning 5p a week, but they take a beating like no other trainers. I have Nikes that are 10 years old and still going strong.

I’ve seen Nikes/Jordans and though they are nice, for Chinese/Vietnamese shoes, they can’t touch union made Thorogood athletic sneakers in terms of quality. Rancourt court classics look like solid US made sneakers as well. PF/RMC sneakers are great too. 🙂

Why are they rmc pf sneakers? I'm pretty sure it was established that rmc had no hand in making them.

RMC did something similar with Corcoran boots: https://www.realmccoys.co.jp/catalog/products/detail.php?product_id=1932
I guess the point is to sell things of a particular quality standard under the RMC name so that people will know what quality to expect.

the archival reissue from PF made in Japan have nothing to do with RMC and not in any connection with them. It was a misunderstanding when they drop from Superdenim UK and The real Mccoys store in London. The all court low and the Hightop release this year were exclusive to Superdenim UK and also sold in RMC store London but not in any connection to RMC.

RMC have and produce their own military athletic sneaker.

                                    Cheers,

RMC started stocking the '65 'All American' and 'All Court' in Feb 2011, at the time, and until now, they were the exclusive retailer.

These sneakers are not a collaboration, they were however commissioned by RMC (Japan).

How do I know this? I bought them in Japan in 2013 and was told by my friend who works at RMC…

They are now only available through Superdenim UK/ RMC (London).

sorry but this was a wrong communication. there is some info in the RMC thread about the 2014 archival reissue. RMC is not involved in PF, they maybe retail it of course but thats another thing
