      That's my intention … a nice mix of cultural history and the modern urban life - Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, .. for the beginning.  🙂
      I was several times in Thailand and Hongkong - but Japan is a long unrealized dream on my traveling list. (It's a very expensive adventure for Europeans ^^)

              iPhone pictures today only, but not due to the rain. We climbed the world's longest span bridge(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akashi_Kaikyō_Bridge). To climb the bridge everything needed to be strapped on/in securely. On top of that, the 2km round trip + 300 meter ascension. I could have made the Leica work, but wasn't sure of Wind and Salt levels, so didn't risk it. The iPhone's ended up in plastic sleeves, and at the time I also thought they'd do the same to my Leica (meaning no Range Finding). Was a great experience, but not overly photoy all in all….and I have a fear of heights, which doesn't help either ;).

                Tomorrow Mrs Snowy has not decided if we're heading down to the gardens in Okayama or going shopping up in Kyoto. Her call. Either way should be more photos (and likely me getting a cut-throat shave)

                    Ended up being a shopping day AND raining day. Managed to get a few photos out before the rain. The first few photos (water/bridge shots) are from yesterday…

                      Thanks @Black Orchid. She's not the most comfortable in front of the camera unfortunately.

                        honestly speaking. from shooting multiple events in the past, that's usually where the essence of the photo come from. too comfortable and the composition of the image doesn't feel right.

                          We're back in Tokyo, transit & shopping days so far. Weather tomorrow's not looking great, however, did get out today (photos later), and I got my 3d model scan completed today. Mrs Snowy filmed it very briefly, thought you'd appreciate;

                                        Today was our last full day in Tokyo, before flying back to Sydney and it rained on/off all day = no pictures. Will try sneak out before checking out in the morning and see what we find in Shinjuku.

                                        @Anesthetist I love the building too. It's the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokyo_Metropolitan_Government_Building)

                                        @Finkster I know what you mean 😉

                                        @Aetas thanks, I like it too :).

                                            The full body 3d should be with me in a few weeks. It's 11cm's high. The one above is about 6cm and quite a close scale. Should be interesting to see them both side by side. @Finkster if nothing other than odd, I think they are a nice mark in time, like a photo, but in 3D ::)
