Very close to 101J Riders (not short length as 1946 version) except cat eye corozo back waistband buttons!!! Is this as stiff as 19oz from 526L?

Looks great! The stormrider version is going to be EPIC!

I may have missed the info, but what's the difference between this and the stormrider version?

She's a beauty.  Not sure if I like the buttons either, but they have a vintage feel to them.  They will look better with some wear.

              Looking to buy:
              IH-812 herringbone overalls size 34
IH-815 blue wabash overalls size 34
IH-807 hickory striped overalls size 34
IH logger pants most styles size 34
IH-6526J double corduroy type lll size large

I've been waiting for this for a lifetime, but now  I own too many jackets.

                BUT
I might change my mind, sooner or later: it's EXTANT!

Great jacket, though! I would buy myself an M (38).

I'm also very satisfied about the 'extant status' of this Jacket  🙂
There's too much other fantastic stuff in the pipeline this year.  ::)

The 18oz is nice denim and i love the chest pockets and total design of this. Unfortunately the fit wont work.

IMO 526L and this 101J are best jackets so far, I was looking for hand warmers otherwise this one too is hard to find !!!

This fabric definitely stretches a lot, Giles could confirm this, length is more like 1966, not that short!!!

It's our take on a 1946, like the IHxVS-T1-DD is our take on a Type I.  We try to make them useable today, not be a total slave to repro.

18oz stretches, but then all denim does.

to me this jacket is very different from a type 3 FH jacket i owned. the sleeves and cut was much fuller and i've found the sleeves length a little long for my linking. however the details are really nice, and i probably could see myself adjusting to it. mine's a size 36/S. perhaps i should've gone for the 34/XS, but the p2p was the same as the flathead i measured, so i stuck with these.

yeah the zigzig stitching, the buttons and the selvage line. fantastic details. though i must say, i would love additional selvage line across the sleeve, visible when you cuff. and i reckon it definitely needs breaking in, these are very stiff. havent worn a new denim jacket in awhile, so these brought me back to square one.
