Just came home from a job interview, some know, I finish school this Summer.
They said everything sounds good, now I need the GO! from the management and we can talk about the final details like the house where I have to work (we have 4), 30 or 39 hours a week and if I start with paylevel 1 or 2, they said I should get level 2 because I work there for the last 2,5 years beside school.
Hope I´ll get the response ASAP (because I just wrote that one application haha)

@spitfiredealer start looking for a job now. The market in the UK tends to be buoyant in April / May with the new financial year, and will pick up once the election is out of the way.

Sorry to hear about your woes, and good luck finding a new one.

Bad luck old chap! Be strong dude, you will get through it and it may turn out to be a blessing.

Graeme is right. Best to start looking right away. If i were you i would do the following:

1. get in touch with any contacts that may be hiring/interested in hiring.

2. get your cv up to date and contact a few agencies /distribute to key contacts.

3. check your contract of employment with current employer to see what your rights are and whether they are in breach of their obligations! I know you say that they have shut down but worth checking once you have got the above sorted.
