IH-634SR - 21/23oz 5 Year Anniversary Straight Cut

I’ve just ruin patch on my 634sr.
Lost quite a bit of weight since I bought them so decided give them hot soak.
Four boiling hot kettles and result – patch shrank and hard as crispy bacon.

I kinda like the color of the patch you obtained. How much were you able to shrink them BTW?

Yeah I know I’m bloody stupid. Wanted maximum shrinkage but guess they will stretch where they was anyway. I remember now one of Giles customers had same problem by accidentally getting his SR in to tumble dryer. Patch is hard as wood and lost ¼ of size, don’t think any oil will help.

I have not owned Ironheart jeans before, so got two pairs, 32 and 33. My other jeans are Kato's and RRL's, nothing close to these heavyweights. I am so looking forward to trying  on these Ironhearts Cheers!

Tried the 634 at Selfedge couple weeks ago and it was such a different feeling. Intense to say the least, but I loved it. It almost felt like, I was wearing a pair of pajamas when I got back into my older jeans. They did not have any SR for me to try.

Now after reading this entire thread on the SR's, I could not stop myself, even though I have never tried them. Seems like I am in for an even more intense experience that the standard 634. Exciting! maybe the perfect pair for a winter in Stockholm.

something like 7-8 months of effective wear… pictures are before the first wash. No post wash pictures as of now.
