Wore it last night while damp for an hour or two, let it dry again overnight.  Stiff and crunchy is definitely the best way to describe it right now.  I picked up a XXL which feels about a half size too big for me but I know it will pay off in the long run after the material settles, and especially when I wear a flannel underneath.  Will get some fit pics up next week since I'm traveling all weekend with it on my back.

Thanks gents. Gave it another handwash yesterday - it's super stiff again (well actually never got really soft).

@giles: is the fabric similar to the Superblack denim in Terms of stiffness - it will soften up a bit but never be really soft? I wore my 17oz black duck today and the difference is outstanding.
