yes i was terrified to get hemmed and luckily i did not especially with inseam shrinkage i just could not gamble with it plus i have self edge and blue in green within blocks of where i work so chain stitching if easily accessible. how much did you take off? and did you figure for 2" of shrinkage?

I figured for 2" of shrink, so the inseam should be fine. I like my jeans with no break or stacks and a small cuff, so I might even get them rehemmed at Self Edge when I get back to New York.

Day 1 was quite a struggle at times, but that's how it's supposed to go, right?

No fit pics, I'll try to grab some tomorrow. I didn't take any pre/post soak measurements, so I can't really help there either (my bad, I've been busy as hell for the past few days and it honestly slipped my mind until they were already in the tub and it was too late).  I went with the same tag size (36) as my 634S.  I tried these on this morning while they were still a tad damp in spots, they fit quite snug but good enough IMO, so I just wore them to work. Finally got the top button… eh... buttoned at around 15:00 today, and they seem like they will end up a pretty great fit for me, which is awesome since these are my first BB's and I wasn't sure what to expect.

Cool, congrats! Did you soak and wash them or just soak?

Did not machine wash… room-temp soaked for nearly 4 hours with periodic (every 30-45 minutes) agitation to varying degrees of aggression.

Cool. Just curious. On all my unsanforized denim I've only done an initial soak, but IH says to soak and machine wash, so that's what I plan on doing with mine.

It's in the instructions that come with the UHR jeans, someone posted a pic of them a page back or so.

Just got these bad guys in today and man are they stiff I was not expecting them to be as difficult as they were to put on and especially button  afraid to soak them lol thinking if I should have sized up or what they fit good now pre soak and the waist is good but it feels snug I'm thinking more from the stiffness of the material thoughts before the soak?

Part of me wishes I would've gotten a pair of these seeing how nicely they came out.
The other half of me says thanks since it's already in the mid 80's here.

@superfuzz thanks! Mine should be in tomorrow! Hopefully they are lose enough that I won't mind giving them the full wash.

I got my 555-03s nice and broken in to where they are comfortable to wear over the past 2 days.

So I decided to take a crack at these today. The UHR denim is really amazing. Pics don't really do 'em justice. They have to be seen to be believed. The indigo is a much deeper shade than I had anticipated. It feels scratchy and stiff with an awesome flannely/hairy soft hand above all the scratchiness. I gave them a 4 hour hot soak and have yet to be able to button up the 2nd to the last button.

These are really outstanding, and a great follow-up to the 25 oz. denim I've been wearing for the last year. The Iron Heart crew definitely has my unyielding respect and admiration. Thanks a lot.

Just got mine. Took a while to button them up pre-soak. And the high rise is takes a little getting used to. I think if I sized up then they would be too relaxed of a fit. My waist is going to hate me.
