        I woke up this morning and the first thing I thought about was this shirt, and I got this idea:

        cut and saw the bottom of the shirt so it looks like a jacket, not a shirt and you got the ultimate jacket.

        What do you powers that be think of this?

        Not a fan of this. I love the "Short quality of this piece and fitted nature. And isn't the IHW-02 almost here? There is enough Melton Wool going on at the moment. Just my opinion…

          Got mine today.  If a tank were a shirt, this would be it.  Glad I went with a large for layering…

                Another idea for this outstanding piece of art: quilt line it so it can be used as a rider's jacket in the winter. By winter, I mean wimpy winter in Paris, not winter in Chicago!

                  I think for riding you would want a zip.  You could consider the IHW-02 (not quilt lined) in the wool version:

                  But Kiya is doing a quilt lined version with ultra heavy cotton flannel outer:

                    Thanks Giles, I had seen those, but I prefer the plain blue or black color of the 01! That's why I was making this suggestion.

                      Hey guys, a pal of mine who spends a lot of time in japan was kind enough to pick me up this shirt in medium on one of his visits (i think at a Hinoya store). The quality of this shirt is incredible!

                      It pains me to say however, that the medium might be a tad too small for me. I haven't decided what to do yet , but if i throw this up on ebay would any of you guys be interested? Ive only worn it about 5 times… Just thought id give you guys a heads up as it may be a 'buy it now' kind of auction. Its in navy.

                            Thanks for the suggestions guys, If it makes more sense to sell it here im all for it… avoiding ebay whenever possible works better for me!

                            Alternatively if anybody is willing to swap a medium for a large then let me know (however unlikely)

                                yeah, the XL melton is a bit small too, though all other ironheart XLs are fine.
                                the arm opening/cuffs are a bit tight, so i'll probably uncuff them
                                but i haven't worn it out yet, so haven't decided completely whether i should exchange for XXL or not

                                i got 5 on it.

                                  A black small has just been returned - too small for the original buyer.  So, if ypou wanted a black small, therte is one back in the store…...

                                    Spoke to Haraki about doing another run this year.  Unfortunately there is no way, the factory is chock full.  We will, of course, make more next year…...
