      @Broark:

      How warm would you say that this jacket is?
      I've got a couple Iron Heart jackets, being the SExIH overdyed type III and the IHJ-14 so I'm curious where it would fall.
      Need something a little more lightweight that will contrast against denim!

      Cooler than either of those….

        Hey Giles, in the pics are you wearing a L or XL? I'm a S in the Lefty trucker, do you think a S would work? I'd like to be able to fit a sweatshirt under it.

        "Model (Giles) wears an XL"

        I think S for you…...

              XL in heavyweight flannels -> XXL for this? Sound right?

                      So the chest on the large looks great but the shoulder measurements look wide. I usually look for ~18" in a shoulder, will a large give me 80's shoulders?

                        I don;t think it will, but can'y be sure, we measure jackets with action pleats to the outer of the 2 shoulder seams and that tends to "float" a little.

                          The shoulders look fine on the fit pics of Giles. So I'd assume that you'll be okay @Anesthetist

                              I should have mine on Wednesday. It's been a while since I've gotten a blue bag in the mail. I hope the sizing works out.

                              Edit: I can't tell if UPS is teasing me, but now tracking says I should get the jacket today. We shall see….

                                Just got mine this morning. I went with my usual IH size S, and it fits perfectly. It feels pretty lightweight by IH standards, perfect for spring, with enough room for layering when it gets cooler.

                                  Just trying to decide if it's worthwhile right now since we're already back up in the 80's here…

                                    Broark, I'd say go for it. Even if you don't wear it much now, you'll get a lot of use out of it in the fall. It's a really simple and classic jacket.

                                      A bit undecided on sizing, leaning towards the XXL at the moment.
