Very nice @Sugar Mountain congrats, wear em well. If i had to pick only one sneaker out of my collection (there are some more than in the pic) it would be the navy one. The contrast between the navy canvas and the gum is just outstanding. But well never can have enough shoes lol. Super pickup mate.

Just got mine in the mail today from Self Edge, great shoes!
Went with and 11 and they fit just right.
Hope John decides to do more of these, maybe even some hightops.
Have to say I'm tempted by the other two options now.

I snagged these off the marketplace (seems a little too good to be true for the price but well see) at size 8

*Only thing is I'm a 8.5 in Viberg Short Shift engineers and 8.5 in Buco's horse hide engineers, Im worried I wont be able to pull these of at a size  8
Anybody have any experience w/ sizing down on the engineers ?

^ with that price I would just cut off my big toe. If they were an 11, I would've snagged em. But at that size I would halfto cut off half my foot.

Very, very nice. I don't know if I could get away with engineers but if I could, the Lofgrens would be at the top of my list. Love the shape and the leather.

They have some shirts done for them by John Lofgren, a few of them are basically just printless reproductions of the shirts he made for the Russell Southern line, which I thought was really cool. And the price point isn't terrible, I bought a couple for the summer. I just had no idea this was out there, and he makes probably my favorite T-shirts next to RMC, so I thought I'd share!

Indeed i saw them a while back when they launched and regularly check in to the website from time to time. Be interested to know what they are like. They also had some pretty nice looking engineers…..

Quick question about Lofgren sneakers. Are they labelled as US sizes?

They seem to run about a half size smaller than US sizes. So you'd buy a 9.5 in Lofgren sneakers if you're typically a 10 US in other sneakers (my experience).

Personally I think that's more true for the engineers than sneakers. JL doesn't make an 11.5 in sneakers, but I'm fairly certain I couldn't have sized down from my usual 12us to 11.5 in the Lofgren sneakers.
