Congrats! I lost about 8 lbs at one point and eventually put almost half of that back on. PM inbound.

You said you'd been ill @Snowy, but I didn't realise it was that serious! Hope you're on the mend now, but that doesn't sound like a clever way of losing weight. 😞

Well done @summ3rhays! The trick now is to keep it off.

@Seul you'd love that everything here is called Veg and Non-Veg. About the best thing over here is Veg is norm. Mind you, drinking is extremely abnormal and crazy expensive, so actually you'd hate it here.

I'm out now guys, but still crazy weak and gathering up energy. Today is my weekend in the city, went for a few blocks walk and came back to the hotel, that was enough activity for me. No marathons hiking for me anything soon. Feeling SO much better than I was last weekend, I spent 5 days in bed/shitter, then 3 in hospital so really, it's all on the up/up.

@twin, I was eating in an area someone from my company had documented was okay to eat in, that's the most annoying thing about it. Turns out he'd made up the recommendation and it was not recommended at all in general.

@Megatron1505, it was very interesting. I went to a very high quality hospital here (believe there's 4 tiers of hospitals, I was in the top). My room selected was also the top, so top care/coverage. Medical facilities about 20-40 years behind Australia, rooms themselves sketchy as. Bacteria/microbe control non-existent. Staffing, lots of nurses. No real rounds done, but there within a minute of a call 24/7. I had 1 of the nurses try find out which hotel/room I was in when she heard I was leaving and she never came back to see me after I told her no thanks to having her in my hotel room.

All in all creepy as fuck experience, couldn't wait to get out of there. Cost about $1000 for the 3 days, all drugs/tests included. This was pre-paid upon entry to ensure valid credit.

😉 No, saving that one for in person. Don't think I could explain it over text/phone without her losing it, lol.
