I got it due to me never trying a Dopplebock. I love bocks…and this is different for what I come to know as a shandy/lighter tasting beer company. Not bad, different taste, but not the best.

Told the woman this was her beer…haha.

Thanks for the Belgian recs, I've had the Chimay Blue and St. Bernardus Abt 12 before and enjoyed them.
I look forward to trying some more soon.

Currently finishing this off, very interesting beer.  I can't say it's my favorite from Jester King, but the smoked figs are a very interesting aspect. I think if they would've incorporated it into a different style of beer it would've been better but it's Jester King so they almost always work around the farmhouse ale style. Not bad by any means, and definitely one that got better as the bottle warmed up a little.

I haven't liked the Leinenkugels, but my experience is limited. I do like a Dopplebock though

Bourbon: because living in Kentucky just makes you want to drink

That is my favourite beer. Try the #100 and the Tiger Trippel if you get the chance. I'm getting moist just looking at the picture…

Edit: if anything, I think the Scandi and Danish beers really have their own identity... And I'm a huge fan...

That is a sick glass, where did you get it at?

Last nights drink…was pretty good. Shiner makes some good beer in general. I love their Bock. Loved the design of the label and it was pretty smooth. I could have a few of these easily.

                                        Tonight is some Sierra Nevada...

I like lagers, I normally don't get many hoppy lagers, but I really like this one. Hops are very noticeable but don't kill the smoothness of this beverage.

That Hoppy Lager is one of my favorite beers to come out in recent memory.  Light, refreshing, hoppy, and a sneaky 7%.  As my buddy said, "It's utterly slam-able"
