@Cutlasshound , how was Hawksmoor? We're taking Tommy there for his birthday lunch (well he is 9!).
Dude it is glorious. When are you going?
They do a lunch/pre theatre menu (which is what we had last night). The burger was alright (meat was lovely but felt that it couldnt be truly appreciated) but i would def go for the rib eye next time. The beef dripping fries are good and my starter (grilled bone marrow with onions) was fucking amazing.
Have also eaten from the big boys menu. The steaks are fantastic. If you opt for one then i highly recommend that you have it with grilled bone marrow as the sauce. I had the fillet steak, with bone marrow and triple cooked chips.
I like the decor in there. Remember my dad taking me to a place with a similar vibe when i was Tommy's age and i loved it. Plus, the bone marrow is served from the bone and what young chap doesnt appreciate cool shit like that.
Make sure you have the cocktail thats got gin, ginger syrup and london pride in it!!!!!

ok ill try this ,cycled today from mine to bow in east london along the lea bridge canal a great ride with loads of people living on barges and a right collection of oddballs and eccentrics.
must be at least a hundred or so house boats on the way all manner of life on the canal loads of strret art and some small cafes all tucked away on the ride .
eneded up in bow and pasted a guy on a bmx who was the spitting image of george micheal he even had a leather jacket and ray ban type glasses .
