Customised my mates old Bape G-shock for him this morning.

Removed the plastic straps and replaced with strap adaptors and time factors Nato strap.

Removed the branded case and replaced with a plain matte black case and added bull bars.

New arrival. Had been looking for quite a while at picking up a Seiko Diver, and eventually started to lean towards a vintage 6306/9 after seeing one in person last weekend. There were quite a few on Yahoo Auctions, but I ended up taking a chance on this one because we share the same birth year and month (April 79). The online photos were crap, but I am happy to say that it appears to be all original and in great condition.

That'll look great.  What size strap does it take?  Is that tritium lume on the dial and hands?

Not really sure. I've seen it stated that the original lume material was Promethium 147.

Guess I forget to mention that mine is a 6306, basically the same as the 6309 except that this was a JDM only and is somewhat rarer, has a kanji date wheel and also hacks.

Kanji date wheel is excellent.

Yeah, I like the kanji wheel. Lug width is 22mm, so lots of strap options. There's also quite a few after market bracelets for this one too.

I like the black nato and the leather. I don't care for striped natos, but the black and beige looks good.

@Qinhan I like the black and grey Bond strap and the Black and Tan the best. Those two options really chime with the colours of the watch. The B&S leather one is also lovely!
