I guess I am stuck buying and returning to Self Edge.

This may not be so easy . . . SE is aware of this angle.

So if I'm a 11.5 in New Balance I should go with 11 in the Champions correct?

After much finagling and size deliberation…
I have gotten my camouflage canvas Champion Lofgren sneakers. I thought that the 10s were a full size too big, so I went with the 9s, not a 9.5. When they came in the box, I thought they would be too small just from looking at them, but after putting in the extra sole and changing out of my thickest wool sock, they seem to fit pretty damn well. I think I could rock a 9.5 too, but I am through returning and they are certainly comfy enough to stick around.

I also noticed that the soles on mine were also slightly asymmetrical, much like Mcclaincausey's, but it's not a big issue.

Although I finally had successful sizing with the Champion sneaks though, I was not so lucky with my order of the blue suede shoes…

                Shitty pics:

The shoes were awesome, but the 10s were way too big, sent 'em back John's way today and sized down. Will post some cool pics when I get the replacement pair!

Bam. Very comfortable out of the box for me. The extra insoles are a nice touch. Easily switch between thick and thin socks.

I just copped a pair of the blue sneakers and took a half size up from my Viberg and Alden. Hopefully I'll have em for the weekend.

I'm about to order a pair of the natural ones and I'm a bit confused on sizing.
Most people are saying they run big but Sugar Mountain ordered a half size up!
I'm somewhere around 11.5 or 12, depending. (11.5 in Converse, 11.5 in Alden TruBalance, 11.5 in NB, 12 in Vans)
When I emailed John about these he told me to take a size 12 but that sounds like it could end up being too big.
Not sure which route to go.

Well if you're between an 11.5 and a 12 (like me) then it's an easy decision, since there is no 11.5.

I'm an 11.5 in Alden Trubalance (which fits pretty large on me) and the JL 12s work fine.

Thanks Chiba, I thought I might be able to go down to an 11 possibly.

Broak, my boot/shoe size runs a fair bit smaller than my sneaker size (I'm 8.5 Viberg and Trubalance but US11 in NB, Vans and Nike) and consensus seems to be taking a half size up from Alden. Fingers crossed it works out for me.

I ended up ordering a size 11 per Kiya's advice.
If they don't fit I'll be able to swap them out for a 12 though which is nice!

Nice. How's the fit? Would be helpful to note how you sized since quite a few guys seem to be mulling over sizing these.

Fit's great.  I went with my regular Japanese/US size of 8.  No need for any sizing up or down imho.
