I happen to like them in proper context. That's usually limited to a farmer/rancher solely due to the design handling the rigors that boot is meant for. Other options would work well for the same applications, however don't clean out as well. An issue with mud and some byproducts of livestock. They certainly lack aesthetic appeal though

I have only ever seen the phrase "I  could care less" said by Americans, I assumed that was just the American way of saying it.  When Clint wrote "I couldn't care less", I actually had to re-read it a number of times to check I had read it correctly….

I correct people when they say this with "I could play Mario Kart with my feet, the fuck are you trying to say?"

They usually look puzzled until they figure out their screw up

It's such a weird turn of phrase to me. I guess it's a primal thing like clearing ones throat, sort of tuning out from the semantics of the words coming out of one's mouth.

I've always assumed "I could care less" is the sarcastic version of "I couldn't care less"

I love could care less. It's like you're annoyed about something, but not yet at rock bottom, bit further to go and YOU"RE ALREADY ANNOYED. You don't want to see me if I couldn't care less, I'm already enraged and I COULD CARE LESS STILL!!!
