Phenomenal, you would love it. The biscuits alone are worth the drive.

I gotta ask a really dumb (to Americans) question here. What you call biscuits we call scones right?

NO not really scones are harder to eat they are tuff. Biscuits are softer and easy to eat.
Scones also have nuts and fruit in them and Biscuits do not. you eat biscuits with butter.
Scones with cream cheese and jelly.

To add confusion, is what you are describing the American version of scones, or are scones the same everywhere? I genuinely have no idea, would you say that those are more like sponge cake?

Sponge cake is a full size cake. I do not know the name of the pan it is baked in.
But it is a high sided pan with a hole in the middle of it.

The biscuits in the pic are warm, soft, flaky, and buttery. Traditional American scones are as Twin described and served room temp in my experience.

Cool, I think I got it. We have very different ways of describing the same thing (see the biscuit/ cookie debate). The only experience I've had with American biscuits was from a McDonalds breakfast meal in New York, it tasted like what I'd call a scone but I also figured it was probably not the best example.
