I am.  I told him when I was in Japan in November that I needed him to do Navy again.  He said yep….

I'm not interfering in his N-3B musings just yet.  But I have noted your request…...

^ Not very familiar with the N-3B as a jacket but if it's noticeable warmer than the N-1 and the sizing work for me (not very bulky), it might very well be something i see myself investing in [emoji106] I can use a warmer jacket for when it gets really cold!

I would advocate a genuine coyote trim for the N-3B hood

Super excited for the N-3B if it is indeed warmer than the N-1, which doesn't really cut it on the colder/more windy days. I'll take the khaki!

Where the fuck do y'all live, my N-1 was great in Minneapolis winters.

I get cold pretty easy, but from my experience the warmth of the IH version of the N-1 is way overrated. Especially when it's windy (basically all the time..) because it's so short. I fucking love it though and it's my only winter coat.

                        Also I live in Sweden.

Ah,  to be fair mine is RMC, I assumed the thick pile IH model would be similar. But Sweden too. I'd go down insulation!

I guess it depends on where in Sweden one is,  but mpls is frigid

I live in the southern most parts, so Minneapolis winters are definitely colder. It's usually a couple of degrees above zero a normal winter day here. But it's so fucking humid and windy, people from the northern parts of Sweden always complain that it's too fucking cold down here haha, always freezing.

But yeah, back on track: looking forward to the N-3B!

Southern Sweden is such a great place to live!  Minneapolis in the winter makes me want to die.  The n3b is an awesome addition to the fold and will certainly make life better for all who buy it!

The IH N1 is a superb winter jacket but not the warmest coat I'd want in my wardrobe.. I need something warmer for when it gets really cold or when I'm visiting Canada where my wife is from

On the coldest days here in Toronto I wear long johns, my MBBs, a t-shirt, my IHSH-101, a Wings + Horns permaloft shacket, and a Patagonia 3 in 1.

                                        Still not warm enough.
