The Devils two days after first soak.Hi everyone I love these jeans which I brought in September and sized down to 31" waist mines 33" fed up with wearing jeans that gape at the back after a month.They were tight at first but eased up after continuous wear I slept in them round a mate house.
I took another picture on Sunday in bright sunlight to show my new whiskers off . Washed once after an unfortunate curry accident and worn when dry everyday.

My second pair of 666. Been alternating these with my 666s 18oz and went down to a 30 (my 18oz are tag 31). Agony ensued over Christmas but after taking them to Amsterdam for new year they finally began to surrender. Just beginning to get some flashes of cobalt. I love these jeans .

Your 666s look great and it sounds like you are enjoying the process. Full respect to you downsizers, as you know exactly what you're doing, but I personally will never suffer for clothing (even great denim).
I upsized significantly from my 634 size when I bought these, and couldn't imagine not doing so.

Sizing question for you folks. I made the mistake of sizing these down one to account for th waist stretching (size 32, normally 33). Unfortunately my thighs are absolutely suffocating and I dont feel any give. Now the good thing is I found a guy who is willing to trade his 33, which would have been perfect. But he had the opposite problem of them being too big and ended up hot soaking them. So now his 33s actually measure the same as my 32s but with a smaller hem (same thigh, waist, and knee). My 32s I wore for about an hour and I'm not sure how much they stretched, if at all. Do you guys think the hot soaked 33 will stretch out after being hot soaked? I'm stuck. Measurements on both are;
W: 16.5
Thigh: 11.5"
Knee: 9"LO on the 32 is 8.25", LO on the 33 is 8". Looking for advice here. Do I take the chance or just sell and rebuy? The 32s do fit in the waist of that helps.

@seamill no expert, but would assume the hot soak 33 would stretch for you, but know the 32 will stretch as well. Either way, you'd be going through a pretty uncomfortable period. This denim is worth the pain though. My hips were bruised for a couple weeks breaking mine in, totally worth it for what's become my favorite jeans ever.
Side note, despite working in them and getting quite dirty. I have resolved not to wash again until I hang them up for the season. I am at a stage where indigo loss is at a peak and can't bear messing up the beauty marks coming through
