We're currently looking for a larger place in Goz Vegas and during the viewing last night had to endure the wideboy agent in an ill fitting suit going on about how he "doesn't need to sell the place it sells itself" and that "the location is so sought after it'll be off the market tomorrow" etc etc.
It was bloody depressing in there and looked like it hadn't been decorated since the early 80s! The kitchen was tiny, there was no bath and the tiles in the shower room were all mouldy and peeling back. All for a high monthly rent. I know location is in important but that bell-end was really spouting more crap than I've heard from an agent before. By the time we'd covered the upstairs I just wanted to chop him in throat to shut him up, and then maybe show him how to tie a full-windsor knot.
I don't understand some landlords… Just visited the pad we looked into two years ago... After the guy was evicted due to non payment... Same happened now... First floor still isn't painted... There's a smell that gives away a problem with moist. The cellar's has a huge spot of mold, and the floor has signs of having been blank.
The pad is fucking AWESOME TO THE MAX... 2 floors, huge rooms, amazing. Yet they obviously are too lazy/ stubborn to clean and fix up the place before trying to rent it. They've dropped the rent price, but I don't think that'll do...
Aaah well... Onwards!..

@louisbosco Australia summer's are nutso. You still in the denims? Denims until 45c @ least. Your SG background should have you sorted for humid, now you get dry heat, not too different

@Snowy i've been through aussie's summer before. it wasn't till 2010 that i think the temperature got slightly crazy. it wasn't this crazy hot in the old days as far as i can remember. though the flies seem to have lessen from before. it's not too different from singapore whereas here's a much more scalding sun, though anything above 35 is unlike singapore.
Yup still in denim no matter what. pretty lucky over east aye. with 30c or so with chance of rain. at least that's what i see on ch9. i haven't seen rain in a long time…...

@louisbosco Yes, sorry. We decided that we did not need the dedicated "Haraki-san" board. Some important stuff tended to be too deeply embedded. So we moved some stuff around, I hope that it is better now…We'll probably start removing some of the out of date threads too soon...

- started two auctions on eBay yesterday
- this morning I already had tons of followers and interest
- searched for it on eBay.com => couldn't find my auctions
- searched by seller => my name turned up with… no active sales
- searched on eBay.co.uk => same shit
- ended auctions, started them on eBay.com
- two hours later, I received an e-mail saying they had ended both auctions cause my items contain alcohol
- started them through eBay.be again, and struggled for a good 10 minutes to figure out how to add an option to ship to the USA, Canada,...
- they start tonight at 9am, let's hope they show the fuck up
Auction had one day to go, they now closed it cause I'm willing to ship to North-America and i's illegal to ship alcohol to the States…
I now reported my own second auction for illegal activities. Thank you and goodbye eBay. Go suck a donkey's fatty.

eBay sucks for sellers, utterly pointless.

It largely sucks for buyers, too. 90% of the time I look for something on eBay, I can find the same thing on Amazon for the same price or less, and I get free shipping and easy returns on Amazon.
