Thanks. The arms are funny, cause the outer sleeve is between perfect and a bit too long, but the storm cuff sits wide inside the arm and makes them feel short. The only thing I dislike - even with the button replaced I find the throat latch pretty restricting when closed. I don't think this will work for me.

Looks good–IMO deck jackets look better without the throat latched, but I suppose if you like the look or the function it's something that needs to be addressed.

I can't button my throat latch when layering with a heavy flannel underneath, the collar makes it too bulky. Sweats and t-shirts are fine. I also can't reach small items in the interior pocket haha, so damn small That being said, definitely one of my favourite IH pieces.

I just picked this up at the Self Edge Let's Drink sale - getting something this nice on sale feels like stealing.  Hello to my new new "go-to" warm winter coat!  I couldn't be happier - love the fit, esp. the long arms, knowing it will work as a motorcycle jacket.  I can see spending many happy years with this jacket.  The only negative, it has the dreaded "lefty" zipper!  But all things considered I can live with that…

My usual XXXL - the fit is really good - I can wear a sweater or heavy shirt under if needed.  I'm wearing a t-shirt and IH chambray in the pic.  Damn this thing is nice.

I'm 5"7 @Max Power hence the oversized look. It's actually a bit snug on the shoulders so no chance of me having squeezed into the Small.

@Giles am I completely insane for even considering having a tailor attempt to remove the sleeves from my 04? It just doesn't get a look in at the moment and the idea of a black deck vest is very tempting. Just wondering how similar the construction of the bodies is and if this would even be possible.
