Man… I'm going out of town for a week.  I sure hope they aren't sold out by then.  if so i'll have to wait for the next restock.  21 oz + big thighs + tapered legs = fit for a powerlifter who wants tapered jeans

Good call, I'm in a similar boat (well without the power lifting part and love the fit. I'm sure you will too!

If I have a size 32 in the 634 OD's, what size should I get in these? 32?  Im worried about the thigh the most.  the 33 waist I can deal with… if necessary

I can't comment on the 634 OD but my advise is to go true. I nearly went for the 31 (I'm a true 32) and I would have been bang in trouble if I'd done so.

I would stick with a size 32 in these, i don't think you'd need to size up coming from a 32 in the 634s-B.

Thinking of grabbing a pair of these.

I have a pair off 666s in a 29 which are perfect round the waist, but too slim on the thigh and the top area in general.

Think of getting a pair of 30s, what do you think?

I believe the 30's would be perfect for you.  You'll get a hair more room in the waist and a little more room in the thighs while maintaining a small leg opening.

Comparing the waist to thigh measurements is the easiest way to be certain.

Had them delivered yesterday, for me, these are pretty much the perfect pair of jeans.

I assume they will need a soak as normal? I've only had raw denim before and always soak before wearing, is it the same with sanforised denim?

How do these compare to the beatle busters IHXB01?

Similar in fit but with a roomier top block and lower rise. Havent compared measurements, just based on past experiences with both. I like my Busters, love my 633s.

Any update on when these will be released in a different fabric?  Is it still going to be the 18 oz as was suggested?

So… deviating from my usual preference for straight fits (634S, FH 3005, Sugar Cane Okinawas), I picked up this 633s from SE this week.  I'm really liking the fit so far, definitely comparable to 634 on the top block and not overly trim at the hem.  I stayed with my usual IH sizing.
