          Also the 633, but that 777 looks like it might be even better.

            "Barely 7months….." lol. Guess I'll be buying more IH shirts to go with these jeans since my current collection of button downs and tees are too fitted to pair well. #FirstWorldProblems???

              @untucked that is a proper fit on the 666-XHS they definitely come up looser than the 666s. They will look great once they settle. The 25oz denim is my favorite.

                I enjoy so much about the fabric and the fit from the knee up. I'll appreciate these a lot more once I adjust my wardobe a little bit to accomodate the more generous fit

                  Guys, thanks for the encouragement….. After the 2nd soak, I like the fit a lot more. The "seat" area is more snug than I prefer, but I'm about to stretch it out with a nigjt of Okinawa bar-hopping. Once the gf gets off work tonight, I'll get some pics. Oh, btw I also got in my IHSH-07 AND the fit is SPOT ON, and as you all already know, the construction is next to none. Now, I finally understand why you guys seem like such huge denim-douchebags. My "standard of excellence" has been set!

                    I prefer the term denim purist, but arsehole would probably be more apt.

                      Great fit in my opinion, and one that will not have you suffering compression in that "critical area". Also, your fly button placket will not be pulling open and exposing the buttons, the telltale sign of a 34 who loves the thought of a 32. Bravo, I say.

                      @RP:

                      Hi Seul-  I think the waist was bigger than I expected and it was therefore a little wider and looser down through the thighs to the knees.  I gave them a hot bath and hung them out in the sun last week (still sunny at midday in Madrid), so I was able to shrink them slightly in the thigh, knee and hem.  Since they are so stiff at first, I think they accentuated the bagginess around the thighs in the back.  They have softened up and are a little smaller now, so they are coming along.  In the end, I probably could have gone with a tag size 33.

                        I wear a 31 generally, most recently in a 634XHS that proved an early challenge in the "crotchal" area, but which is improving steadily in that regard as I log many miles of walking in them.

                        I went with a 34 in my new 666XHS, and am very happy with that decision:  Though they will be roomy in the waist (I wear a belt anyway), they are a great fit all around. I can even fit my legs into them, though only just.

                        I hot soaked them twice before wearing in an effort to get most of the shrink out. Sanforized they may be, I literally watched them shrink in the tub. The fit changed markedly for the better, post-soak.

                        I am by no means experienced, but I stumbled on the best option for me, which was to size up, big-style.

                          @Giles:

                          That is n issue we see occasionally with the 25oz.  The yarn is so wide that the button hole stitch perfectly goes over just one yarn (not a good thing).  We are working out how to alter the button holer.  What has happened to yours is not good, let me chat to Haraki. I did send him an email after you original PM, but did not get a reply, I think he is run ragged getting ready for Bread and Butter.  I have hassled him again….G

                          Was this button hole question ever fixed?

                              Just picked up a pair I had ordered. Let the stretching begin! How much do y'all think the top block will stretch? I can barley button them. I almost need pliers.

                                  If the thighs aren't too tight and you can button them up after a bit of a struggle, then you're all set.

                                          With countless hours of drinking and surfing the forum I have taken the plunge and have a pair of 666xhs on route. After much deliberation I decided to size up on these beasts, mainly due to thigh measurements, hopefully I made the right choice, I'll find out in a few days …
