My wife and I have started selling dog cookies for the holidays, and all of the money collected is going to a local dog rescue group.

Don't forget that there are lots of animals spending their holidays in cages (Jody and I feel guilty that we didn't rescue our dogs, but we have our reasons), so if you have a couple bucks to spare, I'm sure the fuzzy butts would appreciate it

I'd offer the cookies here for sale, but $5 in shipping for a $3 box of cookies seems retarded

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

What's people's thoughts on dog neutering? My boy is coming up to 11months so it can be done. The vet is all keen but I am sure she is.as it isn't cheap.
He isn't showing any aggression, he does plenty of sniffing and pissing on walks which can make it job walking him in the lead. But I dunno I guess there is part of me that thinks, that is how he is, he is meant to have nuts so who I am to cut them off.

I feel very strongly that there are so many unwanted animals out there badly in need of a home, that all pets should be adopted, and then spayed or neutered. Overpopulation of pets is almost as big of a problem as it is for humans. (Almost.) Your dog will not even register a difference after he's healed from surgery.

I adopt and it's one and done for me - all my babies are fixed.  They are all happy, healthy, content, no issues.  Seeing all the homeless animals gives me a heavy heart.  Honestly I don't think they worry about it much after it's done and they are healed up.  But who knows what dogs are "thinking"?

The first and last time we took our Bull Terrier to pets at home he almost wrecked the joint!
He also came away with a free ball, didn't see it in his mouth till I pit him in the back of the car!

                                          He isn't showing any aggression

For what it's worth, just because he's not aggressive right now, doesn't mean he won't turn aggressive later on if he's left intact. We have a pretty active dog park, and almost all the intact males are aggressive

The owners are usually pretty conscious of it, and keep their dogs away from the puppies since the puppies usually haven't been spayed yet

Now the docking of the tails I'm really against. Both my Rottweilers have been docked and I regret tolerating it (they always come that way from the breeder in the States), though it's not their fault and they're as sweet as can be
