IHB-02 Garrison Leather Belt

We are having trouble getting the leather.  The Chinese are buying it all.  We have no idea when we will be able to get more of the appropriate quality….

Sorry, maybe another quick question.. Could the veg tan be dyed a brown, as in do it myself?

Get some Fieblings antique leather stain and apply in thin coats until desired shade is achieved. Veg tan will really soak it up, but with 5 coats or so and proper dry time, you'll get the result you want.

Also make sure the leather is clean before you stain so you get evenness in your color.

@Giles Would you recommend using Mink Oil on these? I bought mine in SENY in May and it needs some nourishment and I cant find neatfoot oil locally…

Olive Oil, Mink Oil, Horse Oils, Obenaufs.  Anything will do…..Seriously, mine gets a bit of Olive Oil when I'm cooking.....
