Sorry, maybe another quick question.. Could the veg tan be dyed a brown, as in do it myself?

Get some Fieblings antique leather stain and apply in thin coats until desired shade is achieved. Veg tan will really soak it up, but with 5 coats or so and proper dry time, you'll get the result you want.

Also make sure the leather is clean before you stain so you get evenness in your color.

@Giles Would you recommend using Mink Oil on these? I bought mine in SENY in May and it needs some nourishment and I cant find neatfoot oil locally…

Olive Oil, Mink Oil, Horse Oils, Obenaufs.  Anything will do…..Seriously, mine gets a bit of Olive Oil when I'm cooking.....

It's a really nice belt!!! I am really into the pewter buckle, just perfect. And I like the loss of threads, Chicago screws are really good for this kind of job. I want a tan/natural belt…
