Some really great shots in here @snowy. Looks like your having a wicked trip. Its been great to see the random everyday perspective in you pics. Don't get me wrong, the touristy side of things can be good too, but the "down the back alley/out of the norm" stuff is much more interesting.

Thanks mate. It was a fair portion of why I came over. I'd not felt like I'd captured any of the 'real' side of Tokyo after spending over a month here previously. Having just looked over my pictures from the week here (I leave on Saturday, so essentially, last day tomorrow), I feel like I've captured, at least partially, what my heart has felt and my eye has seen.

Wonderful photos. The streets are so clean, it's remarkable. Unless the sign on the phone pole illustrates the penalty for littering.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…

@sabergirl , @steelworker, thanks for the comments - appreciated. SW, the streets are amazingly clean/spotless, everywhere, even in the back streets when looking for grime! I've not seen a single person litter in any of my time on any trip here. Not sure if it's due to punishment/fine, or just upbringing of respect of Commons. Considering their general respect for people, things, I'd guess it's culture respect of Commons..
