That's exactly how mine fits length-wise. But its never seen water. I do love the thick ass fleece they use.

    Think it, be it.

I just received my SG 5109's from SELA (thanks Brennan!). The denim is spectacular,  but the fit  from the knees down is a bit slimmer than I'm used to, similar to the 301's/555's. I probably should have went with the 5105's but the leg opening in my size was just under 9", which is almost an inch larger than I like. I'm pretty happy regardless, unless someone is sitting on a pair of 5105's in size 33 that they're looking to trade. These won't see much wear until after the HWDC2 is over, and then they'll be my hot weather jeans– they breathe even better than the IH 21oz denim.

Fit pics, and a shot of the denim:

They look good now mate but If you feel they are a bit skinny, they are going to slim up quite a bit with washing. I wish I had of gone with the 5105 as well. My 5109's are way to skinny for my liking, hence why they are in the for sale thread.

I have a pair of 3105's and it felt like the 51xx denim shrunk alot more than the 31xx. Great fabric though!

51XX shrinks more for certain. I can't imagine an 09 in it, the 05 is barely room enough for my thighs.

The pics are post-wash, so I'm hoping that they're done shrinking. Does this denim keep shrinking with a second or third wash?

Depends on your intial soaking/washing method mate. I gave my pair an initial hour long hot soak, then a warm wash in the machine. I wore them a handful of times for a few weeks and then decided to sell them. Gave them another cold wash and there was definetley some more shrinking going on.

I did a cold soak on mine. I have no intention of letting hot water anywhere near them!

                        Hi all,

This is my first time posting pics. Here are images of my 3105's that I've owned for about 14 months that I worn between 2-3 times a week.  I hot soaked these twice and washed them about 5-6 times? Can't remember really.

Had the car for 15+ years….had the kit for about 9 years?
