We have a possible intern here for a couple of days on an extended interview. @Axel is from Germany and is doing an International Trade degree (or something like that) and has to do a 6 moth placement outside of Germany. Yesterday was day 1. He managed a pretty good hem on unity, took some of the web site photos of the black Guile King, not bad for day one….Thanks @dylantbmayes for being a brilliant mentor…

Two short questions (sorry for being picky about such things):
- If my Jeans are 14,5 oz - they still fall in the lightweight section (it says -14 oz)?
- If I am not sure about the model I pick and it takes time until April - would I need to wait as long as I'm sure or can I edit the choice of weapon?

The weights are inclusive so the your 14.5oz jeans fit in the lightweight category as they are below 15oz.
You can edit your jeans choice, but you should keep in mind that once you enter a weight category you have to stay in it, so you will limit your choice.

Thanks for the info! If I can join later, I'll hold out. Got either a FH 3009, SDA 103, WH 800 or PBJ 015 in mind…The SDA could make the divide between 14 and 15 oz.

You can join at any point between now and next May dude, also we have some special things being made by our sponsors which people should look out for (especially these guys right here).
The reason for the early launch is 2 fold…

Through HWDC2 many people got in touch to say that they wish that they had more time to get money together for the jeans they wanted, this gives people time to get funds in place.

Sponsors making special things takes time, this gives them and the contestants the opportunity to get products ordered, made and delivered before the big kick off. Giles and I don't want any more early hours of the morning trips to Motorway Service stations to find cartons of denim kept in a convenience store stock room
