Hehe I have those socks. Is that the CXL service boot? I much prefer the capless models like that. Is the last tight on the tops of your feet? It's pretty shallow so I was concerned about that.
-
Jeff, those are stellar boots. Black service boots are next on my wish list.
-
I am in love with Viberg's service boot have black, brown and color 8 all CXL. My feet are weird long and narrow the 2030 last fits me like a glove.

i like those D666. your Viberg game is very strong. Bluegrass yeap it was done by BriantheBootmaker. That young man is an artist

hahaha i'm actually gonna sell all my boots except for my Brian make-up. Then I'm getting a pair of black plain boots (maker doesn't matter) i can wear when i dress up once a year. i've noticed the more space i get the more things i buy to fill it up it's a sickness i tell u & they make it so easy with all these nice make-ups.

Those are mine

great score D666. thanks for the image bluegrass, my only problem(s) are the danty sole and i have grown out of love with that last. they are just a bit overpriced (even for me) & as such they will have to sit on the shelf. i like the 2040 last the best for Viberg at the moment . . .

I also really like the look of the 2040 last from Viberg. My Boondockers on the 2045 are super comfortable and have the more rugged boot style that I wanted, but the 2040 is just the right amount sleeker without being too narrow and almond-shaped as the 2030 would be for my feet. I wish they would produce a couple of standard smooth-out leather service boots on the 2040 but hey, it's good for my wallet and my marriage that they don't, I guess!

A lot of it has to do with toe structuring. Either semi or fully structured toes look best IMO on boondockers and service boots.
-
Yes, agreed although the Viberg boondocker has an unstructured toe. I'm not a fan of the unstructured look on the toe profile of the 2030 because it really seems to crumple to a flat, pointy shape. This looks particularly bad when combined with a semi-brogued toecap in my opinion, given the nod towards a dress style boot. However, I'm sure many love that look.
-
I'm surprised that the 2030 works for so many people too…I couldn't believe how uncomfortable my feet were in it. Also agree that the toe profile looks way to dainty for a workboot.
-
I am one of those people who love that look lol

Before all you guys think I am a fucking asshole and am spending thousands of dollars on Viberg's. Let me just say I have purchased every pair used and have been given a huge discount by a forum member that keeps his boots in mint condition.
-
That doesnt help Jeff. Still think ur an asshole buddy
