This is a boot that I dreamt up and spoke to Chris@Wesco about.  Next thing I knew, he'd made some prototypes.  I love that guy.

It is our interpretation of a Boondocker built on a Motor Patrol last, hence the name "Foot Patrol" doffs it's cap to both influences.

The Bootery (and our retailers) will have exclusivity to this model for a couple of years….

    Domain leather
    Fully Lined
    Vibram #269

They will be available in about 12 weeks.  USD800

I spoke to Chris@Wesco.  It is a waxed leather which has a pull up effect when worked (by that he means it lightens when stress  and pressure is applied) .  The finish is waxed which allows it to be treated with polish.  Wesco are over the moon with the leather.  To quote Chris "hands down some of the best leather I have seen in a while"

Any 'worn' pics of the roughout pair? Keen to see how they change once they've got past the brand new point

I feel like rough out takes a looooong time to change noticeably.

I don't know if it actually is, but I've often heard that roughout is longer lasting than smooth out.  I think that lack of obvious change is partly why it's perceived as such.

I think that the grain is the toughest part of a leather, so I would guess that RO just takes longer to show visible damage.

                                          Think it, be it.
